A beautiful seedling that I found growing by my bay window next to my spring lilacs -hence, the name. Expect to pick small to medium sized blooms on ultra long stems. It does not carry the Bilpin prefix as the blooms can sometimes show “muppet mouth” early in the season. Spring Lilac also produces thin and “stringy” tubers. Please don’t be disheartened when you unpack the tubers. She will make it up in the garden with beautiful blooms.
