Tubers - Packing and Postage

We can only send dahlia tubers within Australia and to non-quarantine states. Unfortunately, we cannot send tubers to TAS, WA, and NT
A flat fee of $15 is applied automatically at checkout and covers the packing and postage of up to 5 tubers.
An additional $0.80 is applied for every tuber purchased thereafter.
We cannot combine multiple orders. Thank you for your understanding.
Please choose carefully, as we do not offer refunds once tubers are sold.
Australia Post is our carrier. Tubers will be sent via standard post.
We are not responsible for any delays or non-delivery caused by Australia Post. Once your order has been posted, we will email you with a tracking number.
We hold no responsibility for your tubers once your parcel is in the care of Australia Post.
Tubers will be packed using sustainable and recycled materials that can be composted in your garden.

Upon receipt of tubers, they must be opened and inspected immediately. We store and pack our tubers with great care. Please store your tubers in a slightly damp medium if you are not ready to plant.

Dahlias will only be sent once tubers have formed eyes. This is determined by the weather and is usually from late September onward into the first week of November. Please be patient.
Tubers are stored with the utmost care; however, occasionally they may rot while in storage. If this occurs and we are unable to fulfill a particular cultivar, you will receive a full refund or replacement. You will be contacted via email in such cases.
Tubers will be sent with an least one eye or shoot, a firm body and no signs of physical damage. Please advise us of any concerns upon receipt of your parcel with accompanying photos.
Our dahlias are grown in an open field alongside other flower and vegetable farms. Each dahlia plant undergoes daily inspection, and any showing signs or symptoms of virus is promptly removed. Viruses are invisible and typically manifest only when plants are stressed or come into contact with carriers such as insects or gardening equipment that hasn't been disinfected. Please note, we hold no responsibility once your tubers have been planted.
Once tubers are planted, we hold no responsibility for their growth and flowering performance. This will depend on your gardening skills, micro-climate, and local weather conditions.

Please consider your purchase very carefully, we do not offer a refund once plants are sold.
Postage for one plant, wrapped in sustainable or recycled materials and posted via Express Post is $22. An extra charge of $3 is applied per plant. This is automatically calculated at check out.
Dahlia cuttings will be posted according to which pre-sale you have purchased from.
- April pre-sale: Expect your plants to arrive between late September to late October, in order of receipt of payment.
- August pre-sale: Expect your plants to arrive between early November to early December, in order of receipt of payment.
Dahlia plants will only be posted once they have an established root system and have been weather hardened. If you are purchasing multiple cultivars, plants may not be ready to post at the same time. If this is the case, you will be contacted for either a refund, substitute or change in delivery date. Please keep in mind we are at the whim of the weather.
We do our very best to grow, pack and post the healthiest plants and will only send plants via EXPRESS POST. We hold no responsibility for any postal delays and condition of plants due to unforeseen delays. Strongly consider your location before ordering.
