A seedling from Alf Hardingham (Glenmarc Dahlias). It has remained an unnamed seedling because anything bearing the prefix of Glenmarc needs to meet Mr Hardindgham’s lofty standards. My children have nicknamed it Alfie’s Marigold. It’s a lovely ombre yellow to peachy orange ball that bloomed its little head off all season. It even shrugged off the torrential rain and mildew that followed shortly after. Come autumn, the centre opens just a touch and the petals become a little fimbriated creating a lovely marigold effect. Excellent for cutting and a magnate for bees - win, win.
Australian postage only. We cannot post to TAS, WA or NT.
